Rachel holds a BA (First Class Hons) in three dimensional design (wood, metal, ceramics and glass) from Manchester Metropolitan University and a Diploma in Interior Design from the KLC School of Design.
Rachel has worked as an interior designer for 18 years in both commercial and domestic projects, including the University of Cambridge many historic and listed homes including Countryhouses and Alzheimer’s UK head office. Rachel has studied the course: The evolution of Historic Interiors from Renaissance to Regency under Historic Interior Designer Caroline Percy and Architectural Historian Oliver Gerrish.
She is an all-round creative person, having penned and illustrated her own children’s book “Exploring Cambridge”, and has exhibited furniture that she has designed and made at galleries and exhibitions.
